Well, there are people that are responsible for the what business does. They should be held responsible for breaking laws!

This is sort of the impression I got too when I first registered. I'm just going with the flow, eventually I will sift through the content and members in order to find -the content and members that are of a- balanced view. That's what forums are all about :)

Sorry, but not every millionaire is a "cheater", or "illegal millionaire" just because they play the game harder than others. Are there cheats, liars, and scoundrals? Sure. But business made this world what it is today, and business owners did it.

Any man can pick up an axe and swing it, but not everyone can start and run a business.

There certainly are loopholes that some are able to exploit.

The US has a 40% corp tax rate now - highest in the world. It certainly makes sense that corporations are moving overseas to more business-friendly environments.

And record numbers of people are leaving as well - particularly wealthy people (job creators), due to taxes and other regulatory issues.

Yes...but then someone lower down in the company is just promoted. And they may have been in on it from the start, but they covered their asses so to speak. Or worse; a fall guy could be used. A scapegoat who is set up to be the person responsible when in fact they had little, or nothing to do with what has actually happened.

This is actually absolutely terrifying, to think that these giant companies that influence so much of our economy and market have such an influence with the government. Lobbying is something that has been getting corporations what they want, regardless of whether or not it is good for the average American. And as of late, the influence these companies have with the government has become more obvious, like the whole Net neutrality bill that cable companies were trying to pass.

Our country is based upon the profit and success of a lot of these big businesses and corporate entities. I agree that they get away with a lot, and shouldn't have all the rights that they have. But at the same time, these are businesses that are hugely important in regulating our economy and keeping things moving at an even pace.

Why would you even consider punishing the ones who maintain a country's economy stable? It wouldn't make sense whatsoever. I do realize it's not fair for us the average people, but we can't beseech them to treat us more conventionally-acceptable.

I think that it is a good thing that corporations are private entities. Imagine how you would feel if your stuff was sold to pay debts incurred by your company. If the worst comes to the worst they will only sell the company assets and allow you to keep the roof over your head.

Indeed they are private but lets not sugarcoat how much power some corporations are. They know how to get consumers like us to buy their product. We do not have to buy their stuff but there are food that we do need so we have no choice.
