I don't have a dog in this fight. I've been a registered Republican since I was 18, but I really can't stand either major party candidate this time around. Trump is a showman and a jackass, while Hillary Clinton is a repulsive liar, and a crook. So really this is the ultimate lesser of two evils election. Unfortunately, I don't think I can vote for either one of them in good conscious as I think they both are sorely lacking in character and morals. Who will you be supporting? Or are you sitting it out or voting 3rd party?

A democratic election is always a choice by the voter with the rule of choosing the lesser evil. In the Philippines, we just had our presidential elections last Monday with 5 candidates who all have faults in them, from a liar to a murderer, thief and all other derogatory brands. But since we have to exercise our privilege of voting, we had to make a choice. The virtual winner is Rody Duterte, a quick-to-curse with irresponsible statements. They say that Duterte is the Trump of the Philippines. But he got almost 39% of the votes and we cannot quarrel with a winner.

So maybe you just have to toss a coin if it's Trump or Hillary you would vote for.

Often there are few 'perfect' candidates and you choose the best of a bad bunch. If you choose not to vote, does that help? I know people would rather not vote, but now it does seem as predicted a Clinton versus Trump race and it's not up to the Electoral College to really decide. It's who the members of the Houses feel would do a better job, party aside. The public have already cast their votes, even though Sanders is still in, but while people sit and hope a scandal will force Clinton out, ow likely is that?

Unfortunately these days it does come down to picking the candidate that you hate the least, rather than the candidate that you like.

At the end of the day, personally I'm not a fan of any of the candidates but it's all down to trying to pick the one that can do the better job for the country, despite what you may feel about them.

Just consider: ABH: Anybody But Hillary. A third party vote, or failure to vote, is likely to continue the status quo for another 4/8 years of social engineering transformation. While I question your calling Trump a "crook" I am willing to give the R's a chance to reverse at least some of the damage done by the current administration.

Agreed. With Crooked Clinton, there is zero doubt that she is corrupt beyond words and is no Bill - she's much farther to the left, and much more authoritarian and dangerous. You cannot believe or trust anything she says or does, and she seems to stand for nothing and have zero morals, ethics, or principals.

I am willing to take a chance on Trump over her. His infidelities and shady business practices are child's play next to her sins.

On a second look it was the BMB software that bit the link posted by JR. The word "s-i-p-h-o-n-e-d" (take out the dashes) contains that magical word of Apple's product that bites all of us who dares to mention their handheld telephony "thing." Maybe the new BMB owner can kill the pananoid (in this case) BMB dictionary.
