Aren't ALL major media channels supressing conservative and right-wing news? I don't follow 'murican media much but at least in Europe it's like this... most news channels are very biased. Now I don't claim to know if they are biased because of political or financial reasons (ie. if they are controlled by the government/politicians or if they are afraid of the "RACIST!" and similar reactions to every single thing nowadays) but one way or another, I see very little conservative news hit the headlines in Europe. A good example was Poland... they had around 100 000 people participate in a demonstration against immigration... according to many sources this is the biggest such demonstration in Europe and the biggest demonstartion overall in the history of Poland. Yet this doesn't make the headlines in the major news agencies?
No, it isn't suppressed any more than liberal viewpoints are. To be honest we get a little to much of both instead of just straight news and it is frustrating. Oh, and please, the whole 'murican thing is offensive and rude.
If you really don't believe that the MSM is intentionally biased to the left, and that FB's algorithm (read: editors) is biased towards the left (whether intentional or not is debatable), I'd like to sell you some swamp land. Why didn't Zuck just laugh it off if it's just the ramblings of a few tinfoiled kooks? http://fortune.com/2016/05/13/facebook-trending-bias-investigation/ http://www.nytimes.com/2016/05/12/technology/facebooks-bias-is-built-in-and-bears-watching.html?_r=0 http://money.cnn.com/2016/05/12/technology/facebook-trending-guidelines/ I could literally sit here for the rest of my life and play video clips and post links of MSM bias on tv and in print.
http://thehill.com/policy/technology/279835-facebook-scrambles-to-contain-fallout Zuckerberg is scrambling to contain the fallout from the Gizmodo article and events following. This story is not going away quietly. I noticed the other day the story made its way into a segment of the BBC News. Giddyup.
