I have a few stocks that I love, many that I like, and none that I am married to. I currently have a 6 figure position in google, and have tens of thousands each in a number of other companies: GS, IEP, BRK.B, BMY, BPL, AAPL, a few others... I've got smaller positions ($ thousands and plenty in the $ hundreds) in a large number of other companies. The more volatile and speculative a company appears to be, the less I'm likely to buy. And I like to dollar cost average.

WMT is now under pressure from the likes of Amazon which is moving into new areas:- Price $74.84 @ 26 June 2017
I bought some KR recently when it sold off hard. Costco also. There was a big overreaction with grocers when it was announced that AMZN was buying WFM.
