Can someone recommend a good source for silver as a pure as I can get it, I have lightly looked online but I want a site that I can trust at the cheapest price I can pay obviously.

Quality is more important than price though and I really want to make sure I am getting it as pure as possible.

I would also like to buy in bulk if possible so any sites that offer that option would be best,

Assuming you are looking for investment-grade silver ...

    American Precious Metal Exchange
isn't bad. A few years ago, they jacked up their shipping prices, so I find it less appealing.

    Monarch Precious Metals
has pretty low prices on silver and their shipping costs act about what it costs to get it to you. Their gold offerings are pretty slim though.

I have a good friend that swears by Kitco, but I haven't really dealt with them.

    Good luck.

Silver is very low right now, is it predicted to go up in value anytime soon? My thought is that it would be a good time to purchase silver and hold onto it until the market goes up, is this sound thinking or will I just be wasting money?

I like to hold a little silver pretty much all the time, and I'll tend to buy more when it's relatively low in price. I own far more gold though.

Are these stocks in silver and gold or do you physically purchase and hold the actual metal? I think I personally like to hang on to the real stuff.

What would be the best course of action? Buy quantities of physical gold/silver or buy stocks in gold/silver. What is the benefit of buying the actual physical product? Is it not risky with theft and/or damage to take into account? I have invested in the stocks before but never bought the actual physical stuff. Would be great to know why this option would be a good one to take.

I personally prefer ETFs like GLD that buy and hold the physical commodities. I can buy / sell shares and increase / decrease my exposure with the click of a button, and have cash available to buy something else or whatever if I need it.

You can buy pure silver in bulk at a refinery. You can also buy the silver from the US Mint.

I have personally purchased my metals from coin dealers that specialize in dealing with coins for collectors. I use Gainesville Coins and JM Bullion. I like the fact that the purchases are discrete. If discretion is what you are looking for, I would give them a try.

What is better to invest in right now ? Gold or silver ? I hear the price of silver is rising rapidly.
