This is the first thought that always comes into my mind when I read things like this, too, Gelsemium... if the pictures (or videos) wouldn't be taken in the first place, they'd never get on the 'Net when the relationship goes south.

It's kind of hard to believe that anyone allowing those kinds of pictures to be taken would be shocked if they end up on the Internet some day. It's not a good time to be naive... but still so many people are finding this out the hard way.

I agree with you, unless you are recorded without your knowledge you should know that your pictures or movies can easily end up anywhere, so better safe than sorry.

Yeah even if I were to know the law what is going to stop me from posting those nude photos on my computer. I think that laws would be pointless with things like revenge porn. If you want revenge just prove the person wrong.

Revenge pornography? As in you get angry at someone and they leak all your private things on the internet. If someone does that they should get serious TIME in jail i think. People should also stop getting naked for any and everybody. You can't trust these people.

It is absolutely appalling that this is still legal, and that people think that this is an acceptable way to behave. I also can't believe that people are defending this. This is sociopathic behavior, and it uses women's sexuality against them to manipulate them. These men need to face jail time, and understand that the world does not revolve around them and their ego.

I do not judge these women for trusting their boyfriends enough to send them these photos, most of the time these men practically beg them for the pictures. My support goes out to anyone who's private pictures have been leaked without their permission--that can ruin careers and social lives.
