I try not to take breaks from the world too often, as I find that I can get lazy and lose my grip when I relax too much. I find that once or twice a year for a week is a good amount of planned relaxation.

If you don't take alteast one day a week, in my experience, to de-stress and relax, then you are going to have a very hectic and stressful time! I like to just chill out on a weekend most of the time, and relax whenever I can, but sometimes I just have to make time for that.

I think that one day might be too short, I mean, that is why there is the weekend. If we have just one day to ourselves that is not enough IMO.

Right now all I'm doing is relaxing. On vacation for the summer and just extended it a little longer so I can do some more travelling. I don't want to go back to normal life.

That sounds great, I've heard that taking frequent vacations is very good for you both mentally and physically. Plus, think about it, we only live one life, why spend it buried in work? There is a beautiful world out there and if we don't take advantage of it, we are going to regret it in our later years. I am going to try and build vacations into my everyday routine for certain.

What kind of work do you do to where you are able to get vacation? I do not have work so I cannot go where I please. I mean where do you plan on going?

I definitely like the sound of that. This world is absolutely gorgeous. I think that people should try to take vacations to see every part of it that they are interested (within reasonable boundaries of course). So many people just miss out on seeing beautiful things, and I am thankful to have seen what I have, and hope to see much more.

I wish I were able to have short breaks like that. I have school and a job. The weekends aren't free for me anymore because of my job, so 2 day vacations aren't even in my favor. What I could do, though, is lay back on my bed and listen to some music for an hour or too. That usually clears my mind. Also I could just kick back and watch some good shows or play some games. Whatever the case may be, taking vacations like that isn't an opportunity for me at the moment.

That just sound too exhausting RealChris, a guy needs to take a break at least a couple of days per week, our body needs it and our mind needs it.
