When it comes to penny stocks, you go with the flow and get out when you have a profit. The more you follow penny stocks and watch the charts in combination with volume, news, dilution plans, notes payable and other similar things, the more you will understand how they work and the better you can take advantage of the scams.

It comes down to what type of trader you want to be honestly. I'd rather not waste my time waiting an entire year to make 5% but that may be because I don't have the patience or the capital to throw into Microsoft or stocks alike.

Many solid companies currently trading well into double or even triple digit price tags made well into double or even triple digit returns last year. Check out my portfolio in the investment subforum above.

The reality of the situation is that there is no intelligent reason an investor needs to trade in penny stocks or hold them in any type of portfolio. Penny stocks are risky as it always trades at lower prices. One need a high-risk tolerance capacity and patience to trade in such stocks.

Penny stocks are the state of dreams and nightmares for the investors. If traders want to become successful investors, they often have to invest in assets everyone else avoids. The penny stock market is heavily volatile that's is why a trader has to be very careful at the time of picking up a penny stock.

Penny shares often offer a greater degree of risk but also a great potential return. The fact that so many investors discount penny shares means there are some gems in the there but there is also a lot of rubbish. Dont dismiss penny shares out of hand but tread very carefully :)
