Not for me. Bitcoin is Digital Gold or Digital Cash ? Some says it's Digital Commodity, Some says it's Digital Cash. This uncertain opinion makes it unpredictable and high-risk. Like Rabid Dog, whom it will bite ? Where it will bite ? Nobody knows. Global Politicians started battle against corruption and I think, Bitcoin will also suffer in future. Bitcoin have no technicals, only gambling. Investment in Corrupt means supporting corruption. Bitcoin is against my Ethics and Morals, No matter how much I can gain by investing in it. I am satisfied with small profit in Currency, Commodity.......... Corruption can create only wars and poverty. Bitcoin concept failed to convince me as an investor so whatever it is, I never invested in Bitcoin and I will invest only if it is under Govt. control and Rules with certain identity. Many Bitcoin traders says, They lost link and It made huge loss of them, but question arises really they lost link or It is pre-planned corruption ?
$16,500 for a Bitcoin - what it the world coming to! Not for me - however, watch the punters who missed out get dragged in one by one before the market crashes. Its coming!
Any thoughts on PerksCoin? This is a new coin that launches on February 12th. It is tied to the US marijuana growers. Marijuana is legal in 7 States but it violates federal law. Thus, the federal government makes it difficult for theses producers to set up bank accounts and the like.
I think marijuana will become legal in a lot of places in the future due to its medicinal benefits so linking to cryptocurrency to marijuana might work in the longer term but it will be very volatile in the short to medium term.
Yes it certainly will. But Perkscoin is the first crypto-currency designed to provide infrastructure to an industry (albeit one on the fringes of the mainstream). My real question is: Does the marijuana industry really need a crypto-currency to go out and raise money in order to provide the necessary framework for marijuana growers to hold cash, utilize POS systems and access all the other levers of mainstream business? Also, does anyone know who these guys are at Perkscoin?
Not familiar with it. I'd be very careful about any of these, particularly any of these new ones popping up. Basically view these coins as a gamble you might take (if so inclined) with very small percentages of your capital.
I am hearing from some of my friends that they are now investing in Bitcoins because they are "missing out" - this is the first sign of madness for me, investing because you have missed out and investing in something about which they know very little about.
You had the good sense to get in and get out, I fear that an awful lot of people are going to get burnt with this one, especially now the "professional traders" are active.
The fall continues - will this panic those investors who bought into the idea without doing their research? What is a fair level for Bitcoin?
