Best way to benefit from tariff changes might be to buy a selection of steel companies - personally I think we will see consolidation of the sector at some stage with takeovers and mergers.

Now the steel import tariffs have been announced surely China, as one example, is not just going to sit back and take it on the chin? Expect tit-for-tat tariffs from at least China and maybe more US trading partners.
Looks like the increase in steel tariffs has caused a stir lol In reality the US has been a magnet for cheap steel to the cost of the US steel industry so Donald Trump is quite entitled to protect the US steel industry. The reason that imported steel has been so cheap? Simple, many of the companies involved are bankrolled or working hand in hand with their national governments.
The word seems to be that Donald Trump will introduce tariffs for an array of additional products and services and also has Europe in his sights. Trade war on the way?
