Everyone has an example to follow in life, whether it is a billionaire or the average hillbilly... and being able to compete - indirectly - with them to achieve their milestone or greater is always something healthy to do. At least, that's how things work for me. :)

I have never relied on motivational material, I never find it helpful, I just do my research on the business that I want to do, then invest and play by the rules.

I am motivated purely by my desire to become successful. If I ever get down I remember why I'm doing it, and if I ever make myself feel down I remember why I'm doing it. It works most of the time, but sometimes there are prolonged sessions of insecurity that pass by themselves.

I haven't read any motivational books, I think that our motivation comes related to the goals we want to achieve. ;)

Charlie Chaplin's speech from "The Great Dictator" is pretty amazing.

My favorite motivational material is a tape called Murphy's Committee. It had some interesting principles and analogies. It talked about how some people are like cows and some are like rhinos. He gets this from a book by Scott-Alexander, called Rhinoceros success. He connects this to Murphy's law, which states that whatever could go wrong, probably will. He put them together to create Murphy's Committee, which he likes to call the interferes of magic. He says there are 5 members that try to stop you from accomplishing your dreams. There are two sides to the jungle, one that is the cow pastures and one that is the land of paradise. The murphy's committee is in the middle to stop you from getting to where that land of paradise exists. He tells you that you must be a Rhino with thick skin, a strong heart, and a charging spirit. Rhinos don't wait for the circumstances they want, they create the circumstances they want. They don't focus on all the problems in life, they focus on the solutions. Rhinos take massive action towards the attainment of their goals. They can't take the passivity and the mediocrity of the cow pastures. There's nothing there but grass and manure!

This book called 'The Science of Getting Rich' by Wallace Wattles is one of my favorite books of all time. This book is filled with probable insights and principles on not only how to make yourself rich by following religiously what's written in this book but also ideas on how to have a good life in general. This book is widely known and have so many good reviews thrown at it by people from all walks of life. This book is a must-read and truly a life-altering book.

I never believed in the power of motivational books until I read the first one titled “Hello, Your dream is calling you”. I become so motivated that I started seeing my writing career through fresh eyes. I make a living through the power of my dream. I am reading a motivational book titled “How to get what you want”. It is amazing how much power a good book can hold.
