Does Elon Musk never learn? He “escaped” with a $20 million fine from the SEC and was being forced to resign as chairman but still hold great influence over the company. His ridiculous tweet comes just before a judge is set to receive written reasons why the penalties were not harsher for Tesla and Elon Musk. Pride comes before a fall?
Just learn to walk away man! Elon Musk seems to be on self-destruct having agreed a deal with the SEC which could still yet be thrown into jeopardy as the judge has yet to receive written guidance as to why the SEC feels this deal is right for all parties. Perhaps Tesla really would be better off as a private company?
The funny thing is that the activities of Elon Musk over the last few months have played into the hands of shorters and traders. Shorters being the very people he was looking to annihilate! I wonder if the irony is missed within Tesla?
This one is a traders dream - the gift that keeps on giving. I reckon there will be a whole lot more volatility in the short term as well - at least until the management and leadership issues are sorted out!
The next support is off the graph - sub $240 level? A far cry from the $420 takeout price mooted by Elon Musk
Is this another dreadful bit of PR from Tesla? Drink and driving - really? Does the company have a death wish?
So, not even a future $20 million investment by Elon Musk has changed the views of traders? Rather bizarrely, investing $20 million at the moment may turn out to be a lucrative investment if the company does manage to hit targets. Could Elon Musk be taking advantage of a share price fall which was predominantly caused by his actions?
I wonder how much free stock there is out there and what impact the forthcoming $20m purchase by Elon Musk will have. I read that he is buying new shares direct from the company at the then market value. Is this right?
If the shares crash to anywhere near $200 then they must be worth a punt? It is darkest before the dawn and it is fair to say that Tesla is in a mess but changes are now being forced on the company. Keep a close eye
Tesla is getting hit with everything - the market sell-off, bad PR, SEC fine, management changes and tech shares promising jam tomorrow all being sold off. Will the shares get oversold at some point? You bet your bottom dollar they will.
