The share price graph for this one is just one constant down trend - no real volatility just down down down. It looks as though the company is literally dying a death.
This has been in a down trend since August - has the company got net cash on the balance sheet? From memory I think they did have just after the float?
Finally signs that Snap is getting tough with staff, cashflow and target management? https://variety.com/2018/digital/ne...-as-company-skips-holiday-bonuses-1203094977/
Is this just a "dead cat bounce" or the start of a recovery in the shares? The company does seem to be cutting financial excesses - now we just need some new services and increased activity amongst users. From my family experience, SnapChat is not mentioned anywhere near as often as it used to be. I do think it has lost its sparkle in some areas of the world - time for another attempted revamp?
Wait and see with this one - might just be a bounce before it resumes the downtrend. I just cant see anything going for the company at the moment - it is a minnow in a sea of massive sharks.
The trickle of buying interest is slowly pushing the shares higher and higher. Not sure what is going on behind the scenes but as the sellers dry up and the buyers continue to pick up stock, this has the look of a stock which might go pop on the upside. Very very interesting scenario - fundamentals seem to be rubbish but the graph shows strong sustained recovery from a depressed position.
The recovery continues - moved above the first 2 trend lines now - is there something going on behind the scenes? Maybe a takeover in the offing?
If I was looking at this graph and company for the first time I think I would be tempted to buy. However, my view on this one is tainted somewhat by the history of the company and the fact it is a small minnow in a sea of sharks.
If you are interested in Snap then I think you will find the following article to be a great summary of the company's public life to date:- https://www.cbsnews.com/news/snap-stock-price-down-80-percent-from-ipo-high-on-cfo-exit/ So much bad news along the way yet it is still limping along - even showing a slight glimmer of a recovery of late. Over sold or about to be all over soon?
Not a good habit, losing CFOs lol https://uk.reuters.com/article/us-s...it-by-second-cfo-exit-in-a-year-idUKKCN1PA1PP Shares have recovered a little - has this stopped the recovery in its tracks or is this a buying opportunity? Is it too little too late from the management?
