I'm answering this as a 22 year old whose invested in the stock market currently and has been since I was 14 years old. When I was 14 I was at home watching a cricket match with my dad, and I just started talking with him about share market. I had NO idea what they were. I did not understand them. I mean who knows what a share of a company is as a 14 year old? But somehow I was really interested. I had many conversations with him about it, and still do today. What I want you to take from that is that you need a mentor in my opinion, someone who knows a lot about the stock market and the economy. The biggest thing is to ask questions about anything you have. Trust me, asking questions is beneficial. I have millions running through my head about the market every day (exaggerated). But to get started you can use certain investing apps and leagues. But if or when you do invest in the stock market with actual money, since your not 18. You'll need to invest through a guardians account. To simplify everything, Get a mentor, family member or not that you can learn from, talk to, ask many questions, and be comfortable around. It may sound stupid but if I didn't have a mentor I would not be where I am investing in the market. Read books about investing. Personally, I have not which is not the smartest on my end. But reading investing books such as Benjamin Graham's is helpful to learn outside of your mentors advice. Do simulations of the stock market, download stock investing apps such as stock wars if you want. Read share market guide by Indiainfoline to read everything related to basics of stock market. It is a really tough ride to learn all about the market, especially when I was 14. If you have a good knowledge center like the website Indiainfoline, you should be fine learning about it.
