What is the best way for someone in the UK to trade? I'm looking into putting some money aside for day trading, and some for more longer term investments. What are the best options for both of these? I'm with Barclay's but I've heard nothing good about their own platform.
Really depends on the amount of day trading we are talking about, and the amount of cash involved. If you are planning on being an active trader with hundreds of transactions per month then definitely take a good look at Interactive Brokers.
I could not afford $10000 to start with IB. The alternative is Forexchief broker; with even better spreads that IB. Just $100 is enough to trade with the broker.
