Bizarre! Rumours of court action as anti-stall system ruled to have been at fault with one of the crashes and the share price spikes sharply
Maybe investors think the news on the investigation could have been much worse? Personally I dont think the worst is over but who knows
Markets tend to over react when they dont know the extent of the problems and then when the situation is clarified (even just a little more) you often see a recovery.
Looks like the worst may be over - but is it? These situations have a habit of coming back to bite you on the backside when you least expect it - tread carefully
There is talk that in Ethiopia the pilots used the Boeing safety procedures but they failed to bring the plane back under control. More to follow on this I would guess.
It looks as though Boeing investors are discounting all of the potential bad news about the company:- https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-47812140
You would expect a fall in the price today after more bad press about sensors and systems which contributed to the 2 crashes. I notice there has never been any mention of pilot error.
I think there is still further downside - this bounce after the recent mark down was probably to be expected but will it attract short sellers/profit takers?

Looks like the shares are going to hit resistance on the way back up - personally I would leave for now. One for the brave!
