One step forward, two steps back just now for WTW. What did they do with the extra income created in the Oprah era?
At what point will the management of Weight Watchers pay the price for the disastrous collapse in the share price? Can we conclude that Oprah Winfrey was effectively keeping the company alive when she was part of the group?
What a disaster! When this thread was added the shares were $14 then they went over $100 on the back of Oprah getting involved and now they are heading full circle. Will they return to $14. What a turnaround!
This share has the look of a dead man walking to me - but surely all of the value and hope from Oprah's time cannot have just disappeared?
Surely some of the private equity funds must be looking at such an iconic name as WeightWatchers? Surely a snip at this price?
The main problem here is that to buy on the dips would probably indicate the company is in significant trouble. So, either buy now on the hope it will recover otherwise just wait and see. Something just does not smell right about this one.

This is starting to look like a decisive chart breakout for the share price. Maybe time to put a toe in the water
Interesting.................is this the start of a decent recovery or is there still a lot of work to do? Remember the saying, one swallow doesnt make a summer - I would be tempted to wait for more positive signs before going all in on this one. Still amazed at the speedy fall from grace reflected by the share price.
