Seems to have settled down a little. Even though comparisons with between Q2 and Q1 were always going to be difficult, as Q1 was very strong, I cant see how the company can turns things around in a flash. Q3 will be interesting but if I was a gambling man I would say more downside potential than upside at this stage.

NETFLIX and high flying ROKU have been hit on the back of the new Apple TV susbscription service which has been priced to ruin the competition. Leave NETFLIX for now as was already having problems but ROKU is interesting on further weakness.

Maybe this is the bottom of the current downtrend? The Apple news would appear to have ben known by insiders before hand and that together with a general downturn in business led to the dramatic fall of late.

Was Netflix really on the verge of being taken over by Apple a few years ago? Looks like that might have been a very very costly mistake by Apple :)

So Netflix has also been smashed on the back of the free set-top box issue. Will they simply increase the cost of subscriptions?

Just when Netflix seems to be getting back on an even keel, bang, something else crops up. The sector is certainly not dead and buried but it is struggling at the moment.

It looks as though Netflix is still in freefall and there could be worse to come. Looking at the chart there is limited support above the $200 up to $210 level.

The double whammy of disappointing growth in subscriptions and the set top box issue must surely have been over done now?

Even though there are very low barriers to entry, could this fall see Netflix become a takeover target?

Signs of consolidation - are the sellers being mopped up ready for a run upwards?
