Trading in shares is a good way to make a return on your money ; with all of the different products, brokers and trading terms used by investors, finding out how to buy shares can be a bewildering process . Buy shares ...what should you know? Stocks and shares considered as terms for the units of ownership in a company ; as a company’s market value goes up and down, so does the price of its shares ; investors buy and sell those shares in order to making an amount of profit, which is known as ’share dealing’. What is a stock market? The stock market is a term for the global network of stock exchanges . Stock exchanges have regulations for both the companies that list on them and the dealer who is allowed to trade directly with them. Stockbroker : At the point when an individual financial specialist needs to purchase or offer a few shares, they will regularly put in a request with their intermediary containing directions on the amount to exchange and what cost to pay. The representative will then transfer those directions to a merchant on the applicable trade, who will convey them out.

    Hi @Okezi Oletu

How do you choose which shares to buy? Charts, fundamentals or a mix of the two?

As to my mind, both are important. It all depends on timeframe - the longe period you are going to hold shares, the more attention you should pay to fundamental issues.
For sure, it is not necessary for daytraders to have deep knowledge of accounting, but the price movement is caused by some fundamental changes. That is why it is important to understand the nature of each price movement.
If we talk about mid- and long-term investing, both types of analysis are important equally.

Basically, there are two ways of buying stock of any company:
    1. Primary Market
    2. Secondary Market
Primary Market: Primary market is a market where a company issues its shares for the first time in from of public in the market. When a company issues shares for the first time it is known as IPO that is an Initial Public Offering.
Any company in India who wants to acquire capital by selling its share to the public needs to bring IPO in the market. This IPO brings all the details about the company, reason for issuing shares, company’s background, etc. People can buy stock or share directly from the IPO.
    • Benefits of Buying Stocks from IPO: The prices of shares are already fixed in a price band, where the minimum and maximum price is already determined.
    • The prices of shares are usually found in low cost in the IPO before being listed.
Secondary Market: Stock exchange is known as secondary market where trade takes place regularly, where the shares are available to buy and sell at all times.
Once the shares are listed in the stock market after the primary market, then they are available for everyone to buy and sell at all times. The benefit of buying share from secondary is that they always available to buy but the price of shares keeps changing according to market position.

The key is to understand how it really works and who is right to work with. I was losing funds to a broker and by the time i realised it, i had already lost $52000 which was over half of my savings. I met a friendly trader and she directed me to the recovery agent Mr Bart Kasch. He helped me recover all my money, every penny. Referred him to friends and colleagues already, you can contact him if you need help at [email protected]
