All getting very tight from a technical angle - as long as the market holds up I think we should see a breakout on the upside in due course.
There may be few barriers to entry but NFLX has a good name in this sector, maybe not as easy for newbies to break into the industry?
I was tempted to say wait until the shares fall back but I am not sure they will. The slow share price pace, moving higher and higher is very bullish. Good news on the way?
Has anybody got any idea why the Netflix share price jumped so sharply? As mentioned in this thread, the shares had been looking relatively strong in recent times with predictions of a breakout on the upside which seems to be occurring. I notice one broker has upgraded their target price which is now $390. Does this not look a little conservative?
This one is headed back to previous highs! While I like the company I would be concerned that at these heady levels, any slippage in subs numbers would see the shares crashing to the floor. Have they moved too far too quickly?
The trend of rising lows is a very bullish shape for the Netflix share price graph and there would appear to be more momentum and more potential on the upside - assuming we have no bad news like we saw just a few months ago. It is interesting to see how markets have “forgiven” the company's recent disappointments and investors appear happy to chase the share price back towards historic highs.
It looks as though Netflix has been forgiven by investors after the collapse in the share price last year. It did seem at one point as though investors were losing faith but the shares are now approaching their all-time high.
It seems that Netflix fans cannot get enough of the shares - have they forgotten the troubles of just a few months ago? Not many techy related shares get a second chance - what really is so special about Netflix? Does Roku not offer better value? https://news.google.com/search?q=netflix shares&hl=en-GB&gl=GB&ceid=GB:en
This one is chomping at the bit to move into new higher ground - has the turn around in the business really been that strong? Or is Netflix simply being swept along on the crest of the techy wave?
Netflix is another share price which is benefiting hugely from the insatiable demand for technology shares. There are many many technology shares which appear to have been pushed to levels which are unsustainable when looking at fundamentals alone. When will the technology sector wake-up and smell the coffee?
