Lego has been around for so long, theme parks movies, toys of all the most popular franchises, you name it. Very solid company that has so much going for it and no signs of slowing down. If anything it is speeding up.

I think that LEGO is doing a great job, they went a different direction compared to their competitors and I don't mind them expanding their products and services to their customers.

Lego is pretty well known when it comes to choosing a brand of building blocks. I assume most would rather LEGO than some offbrand.

I've been seeing Lego stores popping up all over the place around here. I'm not entirely sure how much the new generation of kids enjoy them, but it brings about a lot of nostalgia for the older generation whom are more likely to purchase these gifts for those kids. Lately, the company seems to be rather aggressive in the form of movies, games, and as mentioned outlets. Would I invest in them? Hard to say at this point. It's one of those things that's undeniably great in theory.

I think with their revamped success with their movie I think LEGO will continue to be a big deal and worth a good bit of money. Even without the movie they were already known around the world. I know they even have 2-4 theme parks in some countries. That's pretty big and probably worthwhile to invest in.

LEGO was part of my childhood and that was 10 years ago. I played them everyday and it doesn't make me bored. LEGO will and always be the best toy I ever had.

Lego has never died down much at all. Kids love playing with lego today just like we did when I was their age. Lego seems like it can expand further. Don't be surprised if they take that company to another level. Maybe they create lego toys that have technology thrown into them. I think they already do but, my point is, they can easily take it a step further if they wanted to. (in more ways then one)

Wait a minute! Am I missing something? I just googled it and from what I have read it is a private company. How can you invest in it?

Lego is a very interesting company and personally I still find legos to be interesting. They have a great product and the movie by itself was interesting - I think they have already announced 3 sequels. I think the movie business is good for them, but I do think that they need to work to decrease the cost of their products some, how high priced legos are these days are just a bit high to be interesting to some people. If they start making great video games I think they will start to also make more money.

Lego, like most other toy companies, are definitely doing their best in order to get into digital entertainment. If you look at the kids nowadays you will see why... even the young ones have a smartphone/tablet/computer that they are playing with. And while toys are still relevant for 2 year olds, a 6 year old will definitely stick with the tablet and games instead of actualy physical toys.

Movies, tv shows and games based on the brands they own seem to be the way forward.

I think that LEGO is doing amazingly well, and this is just the beggining for the company. I'm pretty sure soon we'll be seeing stuff related to,lego everywhere, i wouldn't be surprised if their shifted their focus from just games to electronics and other devices and started manufacturing expensive goods for sale. LEGO's appeal is much more restricted to the younger generation as if today, I'm guessing their new focus would be to try to mainstream their products and try to bring something in the market for all age groups. That's gonna need some really innovative ideas, but seeing their progress kver the past few years, that's not a goal that I can't fathom.
