TKMR shot up again a second day in a row Mon, and I sold half of what I had left right around $25. I think I'll hold the remaining 50 for a while just to see what happens with the FDA. I originally bought the 200 shares south of $14, and realized a profit of over a grand over the course of a week or so on 150 of 200 shares.

It's the kind of thing that you kick yourself for not buying 10-50 times more of, but also the kind of thing you're glad you only dabbled in if it goes against you. A gamble, basically. With all the other companies trying to get their own drugs for this, it's safer to bet smaller on these.

It's sold off pretty good in the last couple of days. I've got a put for protection that will make me money on the downside if it goes down into single digits within the next few months. I may buy more if it gets back down into the low teens or lower.

....but i was thinking it has a certain period of time {hidden in the host's body before it erupts}...what of coughing or sneezing, say in a bus, won't those particles find their way onto other people?...just asking, this disease has literally put me in shock mode :(

I believe the current strain of ebola has around a 60% death rate. That means there are hundreds of confirmed cases of people who are immune to ebola! I believe that global aid companies should hire these immune x-patients to work in the ebola clinics. They won't have to bother wearing protective gears, and take many other sanitary precautions, making it much easier to treat patients.

It's a very complicated situation in West Africa as we speak. Many transport systems out of the country has been banned. all the borders have been closed. Example of Liberia, the victims are isolated and it worries me if the situation remain like this we sure of many deaths. Concerning the doctors I think, most of them dedicate themselves into saving lives and they sometime leave the victims to die if the case can't be attended to.

The thing that concerns me the most is if this is being spread on purpose and this outbreak didn't happen naturally and accidentally. It can all be a plan from a government to do a mass killing, or sell a secretly made vaccine when it spreads to the rest of the world. This is more of a conspiracy though. I think the medics should be allowed to work there, yes, as long as they're responsible. Someone has to, else, everyone will simply die. I'm afraid isolating the countries like Liberia will end up with all the citizens of the country infected and who knows dead, but that's all we can do. Their sanitary conditions are very poor and it'll be hard to control the disease.

Commitment is needed now to prevent another crisis, meanwhile, drug and vaccine companies should rise up to conduct trials of potential treatment for Ebola virus.

I think that every job has its own risks, some demand more than others. If the doctors do not treat the sick people then our whole human race could be wiped out. It is just unfortunate that the doctors died while they did their best for mankind.
