I didn't know where else to put this so here goes. Has anyone else been working online with any sites that are now offering to payout in bitcoin? I write for ListVerse and they pay 100 bucks per accepted article. As of a few months ago you have the option of getting paid out in BTC. I think that's a great option since the price could inflate and you could gain even more. Several international sites are paying in BTC as well since it transcends all currencies. :p

That is a wonderful addition...i wouldn't mind getting paid in Bitcoin...although am a little worried that Reddcoin seems to be wanting to snatch the crown :(

Hey wvboarder what suggestions do you have for getting your articles accepted for Listverse? I seen the site and I don't know yet if I had wanted to write for them or not.

I am curious as well, it would be very painful to write out a 1,500 word article on Listverse, only to have it rejected.

I wouldn't want to get tangled up in that considering I know very little about it.

I heard BTC is pretty stable now and at risk of depreciating . Is this true ?

I have had a few accepted by them and it goes as follows for me.
Originality is probably the most important thing. They want something catchy but at the same time not like anything else they have. Search their site for your idea and if there are none there you may have a good chance.

You need to make sure that every fact you put in can easily be checked by the editors.

You can email them to check out your ideas and see what their interest is. The one they approved this time for me to write was "Ten Ways Illegal Drugs Changed History For the Better" and it's coming along nicely.

I'm a writer by trade and without emailing first their acceptance rate is 30%. If I keep my nose to the grinder I can get two done per day so that's not bad money if I only do that for a week a month. I've had 5 accepted and they were just random lists I thought of while falling asleep to be honest with you.

Wow thanks for the tips there it makes much more sense now that you explained it to me. I am not a full time writer and it has been years since I did anything like term papers in college. I have to really step it up and start writing again so I can develop some lists and learn how to write some articles.

No problem at all. It comes back quickly the more you do it. If you're looking for another writing site that is much easier than Listverse you could try Bubblews or Blogmutt. Blogmutt pays you $8 to write around 400 words for blog topics and they pay every monday. Bubblews is a semi social networking site that pays you to write 400 character posts about whatever you want and you earn a penny for every view, like, and comment. The only bad thing with Bubblews is that they make you wait until you have $50.00 before cashing out and your payment takes 30 days to process. A lot of people say it's a scam but I've been paid by them many times and have another payment pending in my Paypal now.

Unless a site is big I wouldn't trust anyone who pays out in BTC. It just seems a little too anonymous and volatile for a company to want to be using it as a payment method. especially with the ups and downs of closing silk road.
