In my journey of investing in stocks I have used etrade and scottrade. I have found scottrade to be the most practical for my purposes and I decide to stick with it.

I also want to know what company is the most credible broker since it's money matters we are talking about and it is hard to entrust your hard earned money on just someone then eventually scams you. :)

Most brokers won't scam you, especially the larger names. If you're worried about getting scammed and aren't sure which broker to choose, then you should probably reconsider investing your money. There are tons and tons of reliable brokers that will help you increase your investments and portfolio.

I have been using scottrade and i can tell you it's great. They also have a referral system. You can work your way up as you gain experience. The only problem i have as others have said is withdrawing.

I was doing my own revisions and personally I liked it much. I will possibly make real investments to have more experiences. Then I'll share it here with you.

I use Ameritrade and have used them for years. I never experienced any problems with this broker, so I never looked for another. Ameritrade is always professional with no issues accessing my assets or withdrawing money. I love their Think or Swim platform.

I've been using Merrill Edge for about a year, and it's excellent. $6.95 per stock trade, with no minimum number of trades or minimum balance or any fees at all, actually. I've never been hit with a fee. It links directly to my bank checking account, so transferring money in and out is a breeze. Also, I guess I like the feeling of stability from dealing with a large brokerage firm, although that's not really the reason why I went with them. Anyway, with no fees at all and a cheap price per trade, I'll stick with them.

I still use Td Ameritrade. It's not the best or the worst, but I like think or swim. Also, it allows for many ways to use your money if need be. They also offer free classes, and webinars all the time. The initial deposit is low compared to other services and I've never had a problem with customer service. Matter of fact, it was a pleasant experience every time I had to call and speak with a broker.

I use NCBCM! they are very competitive. However, their online system is not the best, so if you are looking for a brokerage in Jamaica that provides good online services, this is not NCMCm, try other brokers, for example, JMMB or Scotia investments.
