I've been lucky, but I know some people who have been scammed. If you have been one of these people would like to know. It is curious, so do not be shy and answer. Thank you.

nope, never. I would never ever even think about using a broker that doesn't have great reviews, a long history etc. Some homework is always required but when we are talking about a company that handles your money then you should find out all the info and make sure they are credible before you even consider them.

I've had a lot of trouble when I was trading with Plus500, but eventually I received all the money the owed me. They randomly froze my account because they believed I was scalping (which is not allowed on their platform), while I wasn't. So I had to get through a million people to prove to them I wasn't. Not the best experience.

You are very cautious and that's good. I do the same you, I like to find all the information and opinions of those web sites for then I analyze it. Also recommend doing that to my novice friends.

Thanks for responding and happy day.

I have never been scammed before, especially in forex. I take forex trading very serious. We as traders must do our thorough and proper researching, before signing up with brokers. Make sure it's a company that is well established and definitely has been distinguished in winning awards for outstanding trading performances.

I use to be with MIG, that was until the US Government made them stop allowing hedges. So, I'd say the USA screwed me over at the time. Hedging was part of my strategy back then.

I am so happy that I have not been taken by any broker. My experience with interacting with brokers has been rather positive. I know there are plenty of scum bags out there looking to get over though.

The soon I read this thread title immediately came to my mind, hasn't the whole world been cheated by the brokers? Well, in a personal level no, but we do know what's going on with those trading millions like dollars.

Personally i have not really been scamed by any broker and i believe the reason for this is partly due to the fact that i was guided by those who had more experience that to me was the luck i had but i guess not everybody ha that privilege.

I have never been scammed by a Broker, and it will be very difficult for any broker to scam me, because I research well before I do any investing. If I have not found any of the investments or investment companies to be reputable and over a decade, I'm not into it or them. I should warn you all however that while some brokers do not practice the bad thing of scamming, they with-hold valuable information from you, such as commission fees, purchasing and selling fees and investment options, to the ultimate effect that you end up spending far more than you expected and giving them far more than you wanted to, if you ask questions and you are not satisfied with the answers, let it be!
