I love dukascopy but I realize it's not available to US citizens. Which forex broker in the US (or accepts US citizens) do you think is the best and why? I'd prefer brokers that operate in an ecn/stp style.

I can't stand dealing with US regulations, so I use an overseas broker that accepts US clients - been with them a couple of years, and very happy - great low spreads, and their ECN platform has lightning fast trade execution.

If you are starting out with a small bank and want to trade pennies per pip then Oanda is your best bet. They've been going for some time and they actually give you interest on your deposit too! They also have spreads of less than one pip so they are ideal for starting out.

I have found IBFX to be a very good US based forex broker.

You have to compare forex broker based on ratings, reviews, maximum leverage, spreads, account features, and more. Unbiased and data-driven facts should be considered.

That seems like the best way to handle it. And I do agree dealing with US regulations can sometimes be a pain.

Yes, it is good to compare brokers. A great site for broker comparisons is http://www.myfxbook.com. You can even compare broker spreads in real time.

Personally, I've tried AGEA and they are great company. You might want to check them as well.

    Also,
We actually need to compare reputed and trusted companies on based on the legit data and sources. Here's one of them if you want to compare between the forex brokers.

You can compare up to three traders at once and have all of the information from them and decide which one is the best for you.

This debate can keep going on and on because what is good for one trader may not be good for another trader so it really depends on several factors. Some of you may not know this but there are actually some forex brokers that blacklist people from some countries and this to me is not good.

When anyone wants to start a online trading, he has to choose a broker for better guideline. Not only newcomers, Old investors also has to choose a broker so that they can easily operate their trade. It is difficult to choose the best broker from so many brokers in the market. Making profit will be difficult with wrong broker. When I was searching a broker for me, I researched so many brokers in the market. Every broker has some lacking. But finally I found Tpglobalfx, which has tight spreads, dynamic leverage and seamless deposit or withdrawals. It also provides the demo account facility for the newcomer to understand the market. For all these facilities I am working with this broker.
