I never had a close friend growing up nor a girlfriend. So I would not be able to answer any questions regarding relationships.
LOL, I love how this conversation just keeps going, I guess that everyone had or wants to have a wife or a partner and we all have an opinion. Like the saying, can't live with them, can't live without them.
Nope. LoL I'm exactly the same. When I x someone from my life then they are pretty much gone for good. I don't want to hear about or from them ever again in most cases. I can't knowingly keep up with them or still be friends with them because it becomes a huge distraction for me. I get mad when someone asks or brings them up as well. They are an ex for a reason and should stay that way. At least that's my opinion.
Yes I have forgiven my ex-spouse because it was the right thing to do and when I was a child I was taught to forgive those you hurt me. There were times before when I was mad at my ex but I chose to let it go and forgive. I actually became friends with my ex so we made peace which is good. I don't have any enemies in my life and I would like to keep it that way.
I've never been divorced but I know lots of people who have been and most of them see to get along oddly well with their ex wifes and husbands. I think carrying around a bunch of bitter memories or resentment can really effect your future relationships, so I'd really advise people to end their relationships on the best terms possible.
That was happening to a friend of mine until he had no GF, when he got one the case changed drastically.
