According to some research 25% of British men believe they experience a monthly "man period." They allegedly [at that time] suffer from the same side effects of PMS [women experience]: tiredness, irritability, increased sensitivity and cramps. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/men/health/quarter-of-men-believe-they-have-man-periods/ Man periods?
That's why we argue with our spouses, we have our " time of the month" at the same time. There is probably some truth to the fact that men's chemicals go through a period of imbalance like us women, but it is probably not on a set schedule or maybe they just have sympathy pains for us.
I read somewhere a long time ago that the average male is 2% female, and vice versa - and that such things do happen regularly with a sizable % of the male population - whether they are aware of it or not.
My knee jerk reaction is the same as most above, that it's just cry babies who need to get over themselves (which it still might be, people tend to complain endlessly.) BUT JR brings up a very valid point, long abandon is the strict dichotomy of man/woman. We now know gender/sexuality lie on more of a continuum so this actually could be possible, maybe.
Well that would explain a lot. Just an excuse for them to use when they are in a whiny mood. Got to blame it on something.
Mmm - I'm guessing that this is less to do with biology and more to do with British male sense of humor. That or hangovers or a weather-related disorder (like SAD). There must be some other basis to the thinking.
Well, to be honest, this isn't entirely wrong... I'm not sure what it consists of specifically, but we do have something similar to what women experience when we reach the age of 40 to 45. But a monthly one really isn't happening and the percentage is just damn unsettling to see...
