Any Advice For Uk Investor Looking To The Us Markets?

    Hi,

    In the past I have been very active in the UK markets but now I am looking to venture into US markets as there seem to be more options and volatility can be high in some areas - perfect for a trader like me.

    Any advice about the difference between UK and US markets?

    I'd say the most obvious thing to be aware of is the currency difference.

    I totally agree JR - there are ways and means of hedging your currency exposure but there is a cost to this. Its like insurance for your home, you might not need it but it can be a godsend when it is required!
