Sometimes trial and error are the best ways to learn how to invest. I would learn to save money so I can put it towards investing in stocks. Knowing which ones to invest in are essential.
Mostly I just jumped in and started...learned as I went along. Lots of trial and even more errors That might not be the best approach for others, though. A club sounds like a great idea. Experienced traders can share their wisdom with you. You also have someone to bounce ideas off of which is always a good thing.
