Of course. There is class online super good and interesting. If you find one of these classes, then you can gain many benefits.
If you have some spare time while browsing the internet I suggest you go over to investopedia.com and check out a lot of their available articles and information. They have many complicated ideas and terminology broken down into simplified sections that still cover a large area of knowledge. In addition they have a stock market simulator that is a lot of fun to play around with and tracks the real-world stock market data (but on 15 minute delay) that will give you a good level of exposure to the markets and trading without having to risk any real money. The leaderboards provide a certain competitive aspect to the simulator that I enjoy as you compete to invest better than thousands of other people.
Additionally, the stock market simulator allows you to play with other aspects of Stock trading such as pennystocks and options. As well as providing you with the tools to research your imaginary investments and providing links to their knowledge base whenever you look to make a new trade or join a new investment type.
EDX currently has a course called "Introduction to Banking and Financial Markets". It's been running through February so you are a little late to the party but there is still two weeks until the end. (so you still have time) A lot of those courses are available later too. I checked most of the videos, it's very basic and not that much directly related to investing but it's a good overall view of what some of the instruments are, who uses/issues then and why, and how they work.
