I heard about some dude who was at a coffee shop in Argentina, of all places, and they accepted BitCoin as payment. This dude is very knowledgeable on cryptocurrency, and does quite a bit of investing in it, so he was very amused to find that coffe shop. So there are places accepting this as payment. As far as the rest of this discussion goes, I think there's a great deal of value on the idea behind cryptocurrency, but my thing was always the hacking stuff that JR was mentioning. It makes it far too easy.
