Cruz is in the game ...

    There are all kinds of things are mandatory when you're in school. I don't see how kids being required to attend an event at college is a bad thing. I seriously doubt that is any type of indication on how Cruz will handle things if he becomes president. He will definitely face a media onslaught though. Because he is so consistent in his conservatism.

    Because it was made to seem like his announcement drew a large crowd of students (young people) who could not be more thrilled about his announcement, when it turns out they really didn't have a choice in the matter. It was just a bad start to his announcement and the media of course ran with it in the worst possible view that they could.

    The worst part of politics is the party has to put forth the candidate with best chance of winning, instead of the actual best candidate. I don't know if that'll be the case with Cruz, but he'll face the brunt of the media if he's the GOP candidate.
