VIENNA (AP) — Negotiators at the Iran nuclear talks plan to announce on Monday that they have reached agreement on a historic deal capping nearly a decade of diplomacy that would curb the country's atomic program in return for sanctions relief, diplomats told The Associated Press on Sunday.

The two diplomats said that a provisional agreement may be reached even earlier — by late Sunday. But they cautioned that final details of the pact were still being worked out and a formal agreement still awaits a review from the capitals of the seven nations at the talks.

And senior U.S. and Iranian officials suggested that not enough time was left to reach a provisional deal by Sunday. All of the officials, who are at the talks, demanded anonymity because they weren't authorized to discuss the negotiations publicly.

"We are working hard, but a deal tonight is simply logistically impossible," the Iranian official said, noting that the agreement will run roughly 100 pages.

The senior U.S. official declined to speculate as to the timing of any agreement or announcement and noted that "major issues remain to be resolved in these talks."

Movement toward a deal has been marked by years of tough negotiations. The current round in Vienna has run more than two weeks and blown through three deadlines.

Even before the envoys spoke to the AP, the nuclear negotiations appeared on the way to an agreement.

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry, who on Thursday had threatened to walk away from the negotiations, noted Sunday that "a few tough things" remain in the way but added "we're getting to some real decisions."

The sooner the better. We need to put a cap on the Iranians ability to acquire nukes. Iran is so unstable and has a hatred for other countries that it could use those nukes to exterminate their enemies.

Yeah, I sure as hell don't trust anything the Iranians would tell us. I don't even trust this admin full of amateurs and tree huggers to do what's right - they just want "a deal" for Obama's "legacy". My guess is that the deal won't be so great for us, and that Iran won't live up to their end anyway.

Daily Show, Twitter Part of Unconventional Battle Over Iran Deal http://bloom.bg/1SAs0mo
Two Twitter accounts -- @TheIranDeal and @TheIranBomb -- have appeared, and @POTUS took to the airwaves to sell the deal.

And apparently there are two secret side deals with Iran that neither Susan Rice or John Kerry wanted to talk about, but a few Congressmen found out about the hidden agendas. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/201...-to-reveal-side-deals-in-iran-nuke-agreement/

Further, I saw something about a large Times Square protest rally a few hours ago, against the deal but I haven't caught up with the details yet.

End runs around the Constitution and Congress, witholding secrets, pathetic!

The Iranians aren't happy with the U.S's assertion that the military option is still on the table. Their foreign minister lashed out at the U.S government in response to what they felt were unjustified threats but this proves that the U.S knows the terms of the deal weren't great. There's some hope that when the time comes for action to be taken the U.S will do what must be done to stop Iran from building or buying nuclear weapons.

The fact that diplomatic relations are being established is very positive. How this happen and why this happened now it's still not totally clear, but the end of war is always positive.

I also have to go along with the majority of the people on this thread and say that I wouldn't trust this deal, or anything that the Iranian government is telling us.

The US/Iran deal seemed to come out of nowhere and all of a sudden, so I'm sure there a lot more to this than what they're telling us.
