You realize that he has already filed for Bankruptcy protection 4 or 5 times.. He has not grown any businesses that have not gone bankrupt, the only thing he has grown is the ´brand´ for his name. He creates a business, grows it using his name, and then the actual business forces take over and his businesses fall apart, he files bankruptcy, and does it all over again. He doesn´t know anything about building a business, creating jobs or anything like that. The only thing he did smart was put his name on the Casinos when he first started ( which are now, also bankrupt). As far as actual business knowledge, he is no different than Paris Hilton or Kim Kardashian, they just are good at leveraging their names to make money, not actually create a real business.

This news is amazing to me. It's quite obvious that he won't win the race for obvious reasons but I've always admired his no nonsense attitude and iron hand towards business and other goals that interest him. If he goes out to win though that's a very different subject altogether and just goes to show that USA is really open for anything. LOL

It's hard to believe that Donald Trump is a real person. Like, he seems like a cartoon with all of his opinions.

    Donald Trump a cartoon!

I have to agree with you there. He really is like a cartoon, "The Road Runner and Wile E Coyote" rolled into one. How much longer will he get away
with being morally and ethically bankrupt?

Though a point you all forget here... even though he will not have the Republican support anymore, he will be able to run the campaigns alone... he's a billionaire, after all, haha.

Actually, Trump has been quite lucid and detailed in positions on a variety of issues. Look at the hour of tape aired on Fox News' Sean Hannity shows these past two evenings. You can probably find excerpts on Fox News or Hannity web sites. Carl Ichsn has accepted an offer to be in a Trump cabinet. And Iowa likes Trump at 22% and Carson. Both are in double digits, remainder are in single digits. Note that Fiorina jumped to 7% (good for her!), and Perry is out of money. Perry has stopped paying his SC staff. Like it or not, the RNC has to deal with a formidable candidate who speaks to and sppeals to the voters ticked off with the current occupants of the executive and legislative branch. Lessee...Trump versus Sanders or Trump versus Biden? Might be quite interesting, n'est pas? Giddyup.

I'd prefer Fiorina or Cruz, but I'd vote for Trump if he got the Republican nomination. His past is a little concerning though.

It blows my mind that Trump is still running strong in the race. He's been a failed business man many times over, is openly mysoginistic and racist, hot-headed with the temper of a toddler, a filp-flopper, and literally put out his first plan in office as deporting 11 million people and then asking Mexico to build a giant wall. I have no clue how he's winning in many polls. I would understand a decent following, but the majority just seems crazy to me. I guess we can only wait to see what happens though. Here's to hoping he doesn't win primaries.

Just a few days after signing the "pledge" he's come out against Kim Davis (The county clerk still refusing to sign gay marriage certificates)

“You have to go with it, you have to go with it. The Supreme Court decision has been made, and that is the law of the land.”

Maybe he's saying it just to grab some votes from the LGBT population, or likely just because it's popular now to bash on this woman.
But it goes to show that perhaps he isn't as crazy right winged as he seems.

I think that Donald Trump is not going to actually go for president because of how much money he has ans how much his businesses are. He is probably doing this to get publicity so that people can go support his businesses and go to his casinos.
