Groups that repeatedly shares false stories as marked by the third party fact checkers, cannot buy ads on Facebook. This according to Facebook is 'move to disrupt the economic incentives'. http://alph.st/pafc76c2

In my experience FB has made a bucket load of money off these fake news sites in the past. Will they now be forced to increase their advertising charges as FB is now "cleaner"?

Would FB have taken this action without the controversy surrounding these fake news sites? Mmmmm, let me think lol

FB cleaning up a mess it helped to make and no doubt charging advertisers more to use a "clean" platform?
