Just figured I'd say a hearty hello. I'm a Canadian that most plays the TSX, but always have an interest in the US markets as well. My first foray into the stock world was using the remaining portion of my student loans while I was in University to invest in the stock market post crash. Most people made away like bandits on the climb up and I always joke that I paid off my student loans with my student loans. In any case, enjoying the thoughts and insight of everyone around here while I start to settle myself in.
Welcome. Lately I've been looking at the TSX for something to buy, as I figure that overall Canada has it's stuff sorted out a lot better than most of the other western countries. I managed to grab a REIT last week, and will probably be looking to make another investment there in 2-3 months.
