    HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. (AP) - The former president of a Long Island volunteer ambulance company has admitted to stealing about $1.6 million from the company.
    Newsday reports (http://nwsdy.li/1Vzhwbz ) 50-year-old Brad Reiter pleaded guilty to first-degree grand larceny on Wednesday.
