Santa gave me a nicely gift wrapped present.

    http://www.rawstory.com/2015/10/bus...pert-for-pretending-to-be-a-former-cia-agent/

This is a guy that has been on Fox News hundreds of times over the last decade. He is the ´ex-CIA´ expert who gave Fox news all their information about the intelligence break-down that caused Benghazi. He is the one who gave Fox News all the CIA information about the 19 Islamic terrorists schools that were operating inside the USA that were attended by people coming across the Mexican border. He is the expert who was talking lately about Hillary Clinton´s email problem.

Apparently Fox News goes into the park and finds old men feeding pigeons and asks them if they hate Obama and are willing to make up stuff on air to support their opinions. Then they make them ´experts´ and feed you guys all kinda fairy tale stuff to get you all up in a lather.

Think about all the stuff you heard from this guy over the past decade, then think about how many times it was repeated and embellished upon by Fox News anchors and hosts.... and it all just came out of thin air. They say that once you hear something from 3 different people, you accept it as fact. And this my friends, is why you should get news outside of one source.

    Gracias Señor Santa!

    Thanks Santa!
I've always wondered where they get these "experts" as 99% of the guys who actually know how these things work would never open their mouth about it. So looks like they just hire someone who is good at feeding BS. :D

I'm really not suprised. A lot of things have been getting light shed on them recently such as old documents that are a really big shocker to the public. The government has been hiding all of this and it's apparently for the citizens good? No... This is just a part of it.

Fox news is reported to be a channel that manipulates information and feeds the masses what it wants to believe. I recently did a course on the history of US government, and Fox was cited as a channel (and others) that did not give the whole story, but selected facts, therefore misinformed the public.

The problem is that many sources are used and rehashed, so a good well researched story is harder to find these days as there is pressure to get the story out.

The problem is that so much of what this guy said over the past decade has been repeated to the point there it is now a part of ´lore´.

For instance, one of the main arguments against illegal immigration is that the Coyotes in Mexico ( people who are in the business of getting people across the border) have been working with terrorist groups to also get them into the country. This guy constantly talked about the terrorists getting into the country from Mexico and these terror schools that exist inside the USA.

For a bit of a history lesson. There was a guy in the early 1950s named Joseph Mcarthy, a senator from Wisconsin. He went on a huge witch-hunt against communists, spending 5 years telling everyone that he had lists of names of communists who were working in the CIA, US military, US congress and Hollywood. His witch-hunt is one of the reasons Hollywood turned so anti-republican. After 5 years of this, people everywhere, including Eisenhower were afraid of calling out his BS for fear of ending up on his ´list´. McCarthy stirred up so much hatred and fear against communism that he partially helped create the 40 years of cold war. In the end, about 1957, they finally had enough of his BS and called his bluff, and turns out there were no actual lists and it was all just hate-mongering. But the damage had been done.

It is very similar to this guy and Fox News. It doesn´t matter if all the proof and all the facts about terrorists entering from Mexico are false, it is now going to be forever used as an excuse and reason to hate latinos. Once you have preyed on people´s fears and hatred and other negative emotions, it doesn´t matter if the underlying facts are lies. It is McCarthiasm all over again.

Just goes to show, you can't trust the media. You just can't, no matter what side of the political spectrum you're on.

Yep, well that is not suprising in the least. Fox News as far as I am concerned is bunch of anti government...haters..who just go on a tear. Talking about the media being biased take a look at Fox News. They are the people that are as biased as the "liberal media." These are the fact you need to know. This is one of the things that you need to recognize when you are looking at the government stories.. This is something people often fail to realize about Fox.

There excuse so far seems to be ´well, he was an unpaid guest´.. It doesn´t matter, if you put someone in front of the camera over a hundred times and say he had 21 years of experience in the CIA, and then use his opinions and inside knowledge to scare the american people and help create doubt about the American President based on those lies and your repeated rephrasing of those lies, it is almost treason. Almost the entire Bengzahi incident as told by Fox News is based on this mans ´inside information´.. Everything they repeat is based on him. The congressional report that was released about the incident, which was from a committee with Republicans as the majority disagreed with everything he said. For instance, he said there was a stand-down order (guards were not to fire), and there never was. he said that a C-130 was on the runway, ready to land troops to defend the embassy and that Obama held it up... there never was a C-130 ready.. For 2 years Fox News spread his lies and then completely ignored the Republican led committee report that contradicted everything he said.

How can you be an investigative news agency and then not even realize that someone lied about 21 years of their life before you put a camera in front of him.

Guests are generally unpaid, so that makes no difference. It appears Fox likes to decide what it wishes to tell the nation and an expert isn't always based on their job titles or resumes. I always find 'experts' to be people they have found who have been out of the loop, or they want the recognition for some reason.

Do Americans realize how biased Fox is? They are similar to brainwashing people with false and misleading information like grooming.

Fox is fair and balanced, it says so right under their logo. The truth is most news channels were 55% liberal. But I don´t think it was politically motivated, it is just that writers and such are more liberal than say, economists and so their worldview just slants that way. So since there were like 5 of them, Fox came and became 75% conservative. Then MSNBC saw how much money Fox was making, and went 75% liberal.

The problem with all of this is just lazy people though. The internet has easy links to original documentation. You can go and read the house report on Benghazi yourself, there is no need to worry about the bias of the media.
