ISIS seems to feed off the attention they get each they time, they post an execution video online. Following the reaction they got after posting the video of the Jordanian pilot's execution . . . they decided to burn five more other people in Iraq whom they accused of collaborating with Iraqi security forces. They also vowed to immolate more hostages. Sending ground troops IMO is the only way to defeat the beasts. If only the U.S was to lead by example . . .
Yah, ISIS needs to be wiped off the face of the planet. The degree of depravity these cretins are engaged in is just something else. Of course, BHO is completely AWOL at a time when decisive action is required. I guess it is up to countries that still have a head of state who gives a rip.
These bastards are affecting my/our investments to some extent. Look at the oil price... going.. going.. going... dddddoooowwwn. Too much!
They want to get attention, so why do we give them attention ? Terrorists are like trolls on the internet, they only can do their work when people pay attention to them. The reality is you have a better chance getting hit by a car or struck by lightening then getting killed by a terrorist. The news media should stop showing the things terrorists do.
I believe there are sadists out there who are enjoying this to every single bit and point of view, i mean it must be working in their favor...this is pathetic, and as we sit on the sidelines and watch on, what are the super powers doing to ease the current situation?!...are we living in a garbage dump or what?...just sad!
I agree that ground troops are the best solution, but no one wants to advance with that because it's not only a big expense, but also a great security risk.
I think the dropping oil prices work for the best, at least when it comes to dealing with terrorists who rely primarily on oil sales to pay their fighters, buy weapons on the black market, etc, etc.
Well, from what I read yesterday it looks as though Obama is seeking Congressional approval to send troops and American support to defeat ISIS. I think that it will be a very long road before defeat is won if it ever happens.
His actions will be "limited" by what his advisors (Valerie Jarrett, etc) deem to be politically correct and not overly offensive to his far left base. And of course he always has to announce to the world what actions will NOT be taken, where we WON'T go, etc. Our military at its highest ranks is becoming politicized, and therefore our national defense and foreign policies are as well.
