It's funny because most people wouldn't follow this quote at all. They would do whatever they feel like doing because they think they know better.
"Investing should be more like watching paint dry or watching grass grow. If you want excitement, take $800 and go to Las Vegas." - Paul Samuelson
Oh wow, LittleMissMia, that is a really good quote! Hahaha What about this little gem from Warren Buffet: "Wall Street is the only place that people ride to in a Rolls Royce to get advice from those who take the subway." - Warren Buffett
Here's something I think is pretty witty: When it comes to investing, nothing will pay off more than educating yourself.
"Watch your pennies, and the dollars will take care of themselves" I have always found this quote to be funny because it is so old and outdated now. You can watch your pennies, but it is more relevant to watch your dollars these days. a nickel for instance is not going to make or break you.
"Go for a business that any idiot can run - because sooner or later, any idiot probably is going to run it." - Peter Lynch. This is probably the indirect reason for which I've recently started my own site, to be honest.
