Going to church

    Yes, it would be a good thing for churches to be more time flexible so that time constraints would not pose a problem for them worshiping. I don't believe that going to church is outdated because it's a movement which has had positive influences on many persons. However, there are many persons who are just going for going sake and they like to take the holier-than-thou stance, which leads them to believe that they are more upstanding than those who do not go, which is far from the truth.

    It's a ritual, and as you've said, for a lot of people is a fundamental part of feeling at peace with themselves of at least, they feel that they've done something "good" for themselves in that week. I actually have an uncle who promissed herself to go to church for an hour EVERY day if she made it from San Francisco to Mexico in car, and she did it.
    It's a really curious thing over here.
