I wonder why some governments hate spies who reveal information to the public. Well, if they want to conceal information then any threat that is likely to disclose secrets will be unwanted. Spies, therefore, are major threats. We all know governments are led by self-interested individuals and exposure of their precious deeds is sure to run them out of power. Just because you know, majority rules. Hahahaha, I'm being cynical right now but feel free to engage in this conversation.

The question here is, why do people want to be a spy as a job, from the moment they do it they lose their life and they start to act in very dark ways.

yes you are right, spying the government, does put one in a very risky position, I also wonder why they keep doing it knowing they are going to loose their freedom and their families freedom.
