Well, the market's opened and it's taking a bit of a beating. It was off 23% but was off 16% when I last looked. The banks in particular are taking a real pounding. Let's see how this all settles down...
It makes me smile to think that it's only for ideological reasons that Germany keeps Greece in the European Union. If it was a purely financial decision they'd have been out 2 years ago. I can only see one way this is going is resolve itself, and that's Greece leaving, probably with support from Russia. Interesting times, as they say.
Well,, that is a fresh start, for the Greeks have now the opportunity to do business again. With their past mistakes, for sure they will learn a lot about it. The downfall of their economy is too big, on not to take major actions on it.
