http://investor.gtat.com/releasedetail.cfm?ReleaseID=876549 Looks like the final nail in the coffin for the GTAT story. They are being delisted from the NASDAQ but will continue to trade on the Pink.
Hm. Well, that's a mighty quick fall from grace for a company that could have rocketed to the top if its screens had been used in the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. That's tough on investors and the individuals that lead GTAT, for sure. Sapphire displays are a great technology, but now just doesn't seem like the right time for them, and that lack of adoption has killed GTAT for now.
