As we see the demise of some of the most famous high street retailers in the world, it seems there is risk everywhere in the stock market. Have you ever attempted to reduce your risk profile by purchasing government debt via the bond market?
Personally I see government debt as an overcautious type of investment especially with interest rates so low. I would rather invest in equities for a chance of higher income and potential capital gains.
