In this day and age, would you invest in a health care-focused mutual fund? Why or why not? If you current have shares in such a fund, which one do you recommend?

    Thanks much.

Healthcare (in the western world) does certainly look attractive due to the fact that more people are getting older and doctors keep finding all sorts of diseases even in younger people!

I personally don't care for mutual funds when investing into the western stock markets but they do offer nice diversification if that is what you are looking for. I currently don't own anything healthcare related but I have been looking at Johnson & Johnson for a long time... would love to buy but hoping for the price to fall a little before I do that.

The fund I am looking at and at least one I'm comparing it to looks attractive. That said, there has been plenty of turmoil in this sector in recent memory. So, well, there isn't anything without risk.
