Indeed, day trading is exciting.. but at the same time risky. Maybe that is what makes it exciting.. the risks.
Not only the risks but the expectation to make some money on the side makes one excited about stock markets. That's why many people call it "playing" in stocks rather than "investing" in stocks. The difference is, when you are investing, this means you have done your homework, your research about the company and market conditions and any technical analysis you could. On the other hand, you are "playing" if you are only listening to your gut, or just blindly doing what your broker/friends say. And welcome ArianaGrande.
