What I'm hoping for is less government overall - cutting out most of the current admin's regulations and executive orders, gutting or eliminating many of the administrative agencies (IRS, EPA, etc), entitlement reform, etc... Would be nice to see at least a slight reduction to the corporate tax rate, big cuts in borrowing and non-defense spending, and to start paying down the debt.

The bond market sure has been taking a beating. We'll see if it lasts though.

With any luck the costly layers of business regulation/red tape will be cut under Donald Trump giving businesses more margin which can partly be passed on to customers. A win-win for everyone?

Yes, decreased regs would be great. Some regs are needed, but our govt tends to overreact and enact too many of them that tend to overreach. Dems in particular are bad about this.

I see it has started already - news programs claiming Trump has a conflict of interests. What is he supposed to do? Unwind his wealth (and his future) in 5 minutes? This will be a tricky one as he needs to be seen to be putting the Presidency before everything else.

Rumours that he asked the President of Argentina to speed up some form of planning permission for one of his developments - since denied by all parties.
