My best advice to a real beginner is to go to school. Not just any school though. There is a great source for learning called babypips.com. It's 100% free, and you couldn't ask for a better introduction to forex. It's paid for by advertising from forex brokers who would like for you to graduate the program and open an account with them. So, it's a win win proposition.http://forums.babypips.com/newbie-island/41855-top-ten-most-volatile-currencies.html

Babypips is a great way to start. There is a school section where they start you off from grade school all the way to graduation. Lots to learn and take in. So if you feel like you are not taking the information as well as you should, you can always go back and read it again until it becomes second nature. Trust me, you will be do that a lot.

After graduating from babypips you can head over to forex factory and read up more on the forex. It's a huge community for forex traders. Prepare yourself for forex overload!!!

This is great information so thanks for posting all about it. I'm always searching online for different schools. It's fun to take courses and learn new things which is what I do.

Thank you for the link! I was browsing through some threads here but, yeah, since I had no basic knowledge, even the conversation were sailing pass my head as I don't know what pips are and other terminologies that are being said by others. It's so helpful that it's at the top of the thread. It's always nice to see a breakdown of what needs to be known when starting out.

    Thanks again! :)

I didn't even know that 'pips' is a terminology in FOREX. And I definitely did not know that there are even terminologies at all. Thank you for sharing because I don't really have any idea at all about this market. I've been so interested about it but I have zero knowledge on this. By the way, do they spoon feed you in babypips? I do hope so because I would be a pre-schooler if I try it out.

Another site that you can take a look at for ideas and trading systems, is forexfactory.com. I has real time market quotes as well as news releases. That is the definitive place to share and learn new systems and trading gossip.
